Wallingford teen seriously injured in I-84 crash: State police

Serious crash closes part of Route 169 in Woodstock

Officials said part of Route 169 is closed in Woodstock following a vehicle crash.

The crash happened on Wednesday, approximately after 8 p.m., according to CT DOT.

The Woodstock Volunteer Fire Department said the road is closed from Old Hall Road to Country Road and will remain closed for an “extended period of time.”

Connecticut State Police said injuries were reported, and a vehicle was reportedly on fire. Two people were taken to the hospital via LifeStar, according to officials.
