Man dies after being struck by a car in New Haven
A man died after being struck by a vehicle on Forbes Ave in New Haven prior to boarding a CT Transit bus to East Haven on Feb. 11.
The East Haven Police Department began an investigation into the suspicious death on Feb. 13 after it was reported to them by Yale-New Haven Hospital.
The man was transported to the hospital after his arrival to East Haven, where he died due to his injuries.
They identified the man as Dominic Landolfi of New Haven.
The vehicle that struck Landolfi has not been identified.
There were no calls made to the New Haven Police Department reporting the incident when it happened.
The New Haven Accident Reconstruction Team was assigned the case on Feb.18 and is continuing to investigate.
