Shelton police ask for public's help finding 73-year-old man missing for a week
The Shelton Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a 73-year-old man who has been missing for several days.
Christopher Taylor was last seen in the area of Booth Hill Road and Clinton Drive a week ago on Friday, Aug. 14. He was reported missing on Sunday, Aug. 16.
Police are asking people in the area to check their backyards, wooded areas, fields, sheds, garages, and other outbuildings or places where Taylor may be located.
Taylor is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes, according to a Silver Alert shared by police.
He may be wearing bluish-gray pants and a dark T-shirt, possibly navy blue, police said.
Detectives said they are working around the clock and using all available resources to find Taylor.
Anyone who sees Taylor or has information about where he may be is asked to call 911 immediately.
