Two injured after shooting outside Cadillac Ranch in Southington
Police responded to Cadillac Ranch for a reported shooting around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
When officers arrived, they observed a 25-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso, according to police.
The 23-year-old victim was transported to the hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Police said, officers also located a 44-year-old male who was the victim of an apparent assault.
The 44-year-old victim was also transported to the hospital and is in stable condition.
According to police, “Due to the number of people involved and the severity of the incident, the Blue Plan was activated, prompting assistance for multiple neighboring law enforcement agencies.”
Connecticut State Police is assisting with the investigation.
This investigation remains active and further details are set to be released around 9 a.m. on Thursday, police said.
