Fatal shooting outside Waterbury nightclub leads to club's closure
The Waterbury club where a fatal shooting happened outside over the weekend has is now closed.
The permittee of the LA 42 Night Club canceled the establishment’s liquor permit, according to the Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Division. The club is closed, effective immediately.
They found 22-year-old Trey-Von Dunbar, of Waterbury, with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A woman was also shot and was unresponsive at the scene. She was also taken to the hospital, where she remained in critical condition as of Monday morning.
