1 killed in Hartford shooting: Police
A 19-year-old is dead after a shooting in Hartford, police said.
The shooting happened around 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Hartford officers were called to Barbour Street, near Capen Street, on a report of shots fired.
When they got to the scene, police found Calcius Hales Jr. unresponsive. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call the Hartford Police Department Tip Line at 860-722-TIPS (8477).
