
One person is dead after a double shooting in Hartford, police said.
ShotSpotter notified police of shots fired around 7 p.m. on Magnolia Street.
When officers got to the scene, they found a woman in her 30s unresponsive in the passenger seat of a vehicle.
There was another woman in her 40s on the sidewalk. She was pronounced dead at the scene. She’s not been identified at this time.
According to officials, investigators believe the shots were fired from a car driving the wrong way on Magnolia Street. Investigators are processing evidence at the scene, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is also expected to arrive, officials said.
The woman in the passenger seat is expected to survive her injuries, police said, and both women are believed to be related.
Police have not identified a suspect at this time.
