Rep. Jahana Hayes released from hospital after health scare

Representative Jahana Hayes has been released from the hospital after a health scare last week.

In a video posted to Facebook on Sunday, she said she was leaving St. Mary’s Hospital where she was admitted for the last two days.

“On Friday, I felt like I was dizzy while shopping, I was out getting phones at the mall and felt like I was dizzy, but it didn’t feel normal so i went to the er and was checked in,” she said.

In the video, she said doctors thought she may have had a blood clot that they could break up with medication. She was admitted for 48 hours for observation and was released on Sunday. She said she now feels better.

She is encouraging everyone to listen to their body and to get things checked if you don’t feel well.
