Flight diverted for emergency landing in Syracuse after reported odor of fumes in cockpit

The flight was en route from Rochester to Philadelphia before American Airlines said it was diverted due to a possible mechanical issue.

The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority says that the issue was a reported odor of fumes in the cockpit.
