Man in critical condition following Waterbury motorcycle crash

A man is in critical condition after a motorcycle crash in Waterbury on Saturday evening.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of Thomaston Avenue around 8:35 p.m. for a report of a motorcycle crash.

Once in the area, investigators said they determined a 46-year-old Waterbury man lost control of his motorcycle and fell off. As he hit the ground, he was reportedly injured.

According to police, he is currently in critical condition at the hospital.

The crash is under investigation by the accident reconstruction unit.
