Road in Enfield expected to be closed for extended period due to wires down

A road in Enfield is expected to be closed for an extended period after a crash brought down wires and a pole on Sunday.

Police said Brainard Road is closed between George Washington Road and Sharren Lane because of the crash.

There is also reportedly a utility pole and wires down in the road.

Investigators expect the road to be closed for an extended period of time.

Anyone in the area is urged to use an alternate route.
