The fifth annual Hartford Taste is back this weekend.
The festival will take over Pratt and Trumbull Streets with food, music and art. More than two dozen restaurants and over 20 small businesses will be participating.
The proceeds from the event will help feed families through Connecticut Foodshare.
“This is one of our favorite weekends of the year. I mean, you get to come out here in Downtown Hartford, enjoy good people, enjoy good food, good drink. It’s just a great community activity and the fact that the proceeds end up benefiting us at Connecticut Food Share is even better. It just warms my heart,” said President & CEO of CT Foodshare Jason Jakubowski.
Over the last five years, Hartford Taste has raised more than $100,000 for CT Foodshare between sponsorships and community support.
Admission is free. Hartford Taste runs from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
NBC Connecticut and Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra are proud media partners.
