
Police have made three arrests connected to the shooting death of a man in Waterbury earlier this month.
Officers responded to Easton street around 3:15 a.m. on May 6 and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim, identified as 20-year-old Daniel Peart, of Hartford, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police initially arrested 18-year-old Tyquise Kinnel, and 19-year-old Lucas Henry, charging them with first-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.
A third person, a 17-year-old was arrested and charged with murder, criminal use of a weapson, illegal discharge of a firearm, illegal transfer/purchase of a pistol/revolver, carrying a pistol without a permit, and first-degree reckless endangerment.
He was transferred to adult court on Thursday and was held on $3 million bond.
