Over 1,000 people affected by power outage in Manchester
According to the Eversource power outage map more than 1,000 people are affected by a power outage as of 6:30 a.m.
Manchester police said there is a power outage in the lower Main Street area. According to police, the traffic lights are out due to the outage between Wells Street and Oak Street, so they ask for people to reduce their speed while driving in that area.
Police said that Eversource is aware of the outage and is responding to restore power.
The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
