Transformer fire causes power outage in West Haven
A transformer fire has caused a power outage in West Haven on Sunday.
Police said the transformer fire happened at the intersection of Elm Street and Campbell Avenue. Traffic lights in the area are reportedly affected.
It also extends to Captain Thomas Boulevard and Campbell Avenue, as well.
Anyone in the area should proceed with caution.
About 2,400 customers in West Haven are without power, according to UI.
