Middletown man is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Plainville
An elderly man is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Plainville on Saturday.
At around 12:05 p.m. the Plainville Police Department responded to New Britain Avenue for a motor vehicle accident.
A Honda HR-V was driving eastbound on New Britain Ave and struck an 88-year-old man.
The elderly male sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. The man later died at the hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
