Police are continuing to search for a possibly armed suspect after a shooting in Middletown on Tuesday night.
Officers began investigating a shooting in the afternoon. Police believe it was an isolated incident between known parties and no injuries were reported.
The investigation triggered a shelter-in-place for streets including East Street, Westlake Drive, Smith Street, Country Club Road and Atkins Street. That shelter-in-place has since been lifted.
According to police, the suspect is identified as 29-year-old Christopher Robert Lane. He was last seen wearing all black.

Investigators have released what they said was the last known surveillance photo of Lane. It was taken in the 100 block of Roscommon Drive around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police do not believe Lane is still in the immediate area.
Anyone who sees Lane should not approach him or attempt to make contact and should call 911 immediately.
The investigation is ongoing.
