Dog killed in fire at multi-family home in New Haven
A dog has died after a fire at a multi-family home in New Haven on Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were called to the three-family home on Ferry Street around 4 a.m.
Crews there said they found heavy fire on the third floor. The flames have since been brought under control.
According to fire officials one dog has died. No other injuries were reported.
It’s unclear how many people will be displaced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
