One boy struck, another person injured in a wave runner accident in Shelton
One boy was struck, and another person was injured after a wave runner accident in Shelton on Sunday.
At around 4:20 p.m., the Shelton and Derby Fire Department and DEEP responded to Indian Wells State Park for a report of a water vessel accident.
Upon arrival, firefighters were told that a boy was also struck by the wave runner.
The boy was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An occupant of the personal watercraft was also transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No other information was released.
