Hartford Turnpike reopens in Vernon following crash

VERNON, Conn. (WTNH) — The Hartford Turnpike has reopened in Vernon after a “significant” crash, according to police. The road was closed at Welles Road and Taylor Street, police said. It reopened at around 7:10 p.m. No further information has been released at this time.
