The theme of this year’s Met Gala is ‘Costume Art‘, which pairs art objects with garments to highlight the connection between fashion and art through the centuries.
The dress code ‘Fashion is Art’ invites guests to “express their own relationship to fashion as an embodied art form and celebrate the countless depictions of the dressed body throughout art history’, according to The Met.
