Man dead after shooting on Albany Avenue: Hartford police

Teen injured after shooting in Hartford

A teenager was injured after a shooting in Hartford on Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the area of 211 Westland Street around 9:36 p.m. on a ShotSpotter notification.

According to police, an area hospital reported a gunshot victim arriving for treatment.

The victim is a 19-year-old female, and their injuries are non-life threatening.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Division responded and assumed the investigation.
