Police investigating a suspicious death in Hartford

Hartford police say they are investigating the death of a female on Belden Street.

They say officers were dispatched to the scene Friday night and found a woman suffering from injuries.

According to police, she was pronounced dead on scene.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
