Police investigating fatal New Britain accident
One person is dead after being hit by a motor vehicle in New Britain on Friday evening.
At around 10:50 p.m., New Britain Police responded to the intersection of Hartford Road and Village Square Drive for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
The operator of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and has been cooperative with investigators.
Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
