Just after midnight there was a report of a fire in the area of Bennett Avenue.
When fire crews arrived, they began their attack and were delayed in the process due to two fire hydrants that were not supplying water. An additional engine was assigned to assist the fire with water supply, fire officials said.
Deputy Chief Stephen Ayotte mentioned the house sustained severe damage and the two vehicles at the residence were destroyed.
There were no injuries and the large body of fire was brought under control around 1:17 a.m.
The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
