School threats reported across eastern Connecticut cause lockdowns, dismissals

School officials from the eastern part of the state reported receiving threats Friday, with some schools going into lockdown or dismissing students entirely. In Ledyard, officials said everyone is safe after they sent students and staff at the high school home early after saying they received a “credible threat of danger.”
