Man found dead behind Farmington condo complex was victim of homicide: Police
Police say the person found dead in an area of Farmington on Thursday was the victim of a homicide.
They found the body of 29-year-old Derick William Mercado-Labonte, of Bridgeport, along the wood line behind a condominium complex.
Mercado-Labonte appeared to have sustained multiple areas of trauma, according to police.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled Mercado-Labonte’s death as a homicide.
Police did not release any additional details, but said it appears to be an isolated incident.
