The Bridgeport Police Department provided an update on Wednesday and released an age-progression photo of Bianca Lebron, who disappeared in 2001 when she was 10 years old.
Lebron was last seen on Nov. 7, 2001, around 8:30 a.m. near the former Elias Howe School in Bridgeport. She was standing outside with her friends when a brown or tan van approached the group.
Lebron allegedly told her friends she was going to the mall with her “uncle” and got in the van. She has not been seen or heard from since that morning.

The photo is supposed to show what a 34-year-old Lebron would look like today.
The image was produced by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and officials released it at 11 a.m. Wednesday across the street from the school where Lebron went missing.
“Bianca Lebron has never been found, leaving open the possibility she may be alive,” officials wrote in the press release.
Police believe the release of the image might produce fresh leads.
