
Thomaston police are searching for a person who reportedly fired shots at another vehicle Tuesday afternoon.
A person called the Thomaston Police Department around 3:30 p.m. to report a “road rage incident,” according to police. The caller stated that the other driver fired a shot from their driver’s window at the caller’s vehicle, hitting the passenger’s side window and windshield.
Police said that the shooting happened while both vehicles were driving south on Waterbury Road.
No injuries were reported.
Thomaston police were helped by the Waterbury and Plymouth police departments, as well as a K9 unit from Naugatuck and state police.
Officials did not say a suspect was in custody at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
