A big impact storm system is rolling through on Monday, bringing high winds and heavy rain across the state.
A wind advisory began around 11 a.m. and is still in effect. Winds could reach gusts of 45 to 55 miles per hour through tonight.
A flood watch is also in effect for rising rivers and streams until Tuesday morning.

As of 10 p.m. Monday, parts of the state had seen 1 inch to 2 inches of rain with another quarter inch possible overnight.
A strong cold front will move through overnight, bringing us into the 20s and 30s by Tuesday morning.
Strong winds will increase on Monday night, and we could see thunderstorms as the front moves through.

Expect sunshine and clouds with much colder temperatures on Tuesday.
