Four people displaced in Old Mystic after early morning fire
Old Mystic Fire Chief Ken Richards says four adults are displaced after a fire broke out early Saturday morning on Lantern Hill Rd.
He says they were notified at around 5 a.m. and arrived on scene 3 minutes where they found the house was almost completely engulfed in flames
The home was completely destroyed, and the Red Cross are working to ensure the displaced family are rehomed according to Richards.
Mutual aid was received from Mystic, Aquatic Bridge and Sub Base fire departments and Stonington Ambulance
Local State Fire Marshals are on scene investigating the incident.
