Man with multiple gunshot wounds found dead in parking lot in Seymour: police
An investigation is underway after police said a man with multiple gunshot wounds was found dead in a parking lot in Seymour early Wednesday morning.
Officers received a 911 call about a man found dead in the parking lot of the Ideal Plaza on North Street around 1:15 a.m.
According to investigators, a man believed to be about 40 years old was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
Detectives from the Seymour Police Department, the Connecticut State Police Major Crime Squad and inspectors from the Milford States Attorney’s Office are investigating the man’s death.
