CT Chefs Dinner To Benefit the Hospitality Advocacy Fund Supporting The Culinary Industry
On September 9th, seven of CT’s most accomplished chefs will come together to support the Hospitality Advocacy Fund which works to protect, strengthen, and advance the industry through effective advocacy at the state and local levels.
Hosted by 85th Day Food Community, at Stone Acres Farm, Stonington, the evening includes a cocktail reception and curated culinary tour featuring exceptional bites, beverages, and hospitality from some of Connecticut’s top talent. What is the Hospitality Advocacy Fund? (HAF)
The Hospitality Advocacy Fund (HAF) works to protect, strengthen, and advance the industry through effective advocacy at the state and local levels. Each year, legislators and special interest groups introduce proposals that can significantly impact the ability of restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality businesses to operate and succeed. HAF ensures our industry’s voice is heard, advocating for policies that support business growth, protect jobs, and foster a thriving hospitality community.
HAF relies on contributions from those who work within and are associated with the hospitality industry. Unlike PAC, contributions to the Advocacy Fund may come from either personal or corporate sources. These funds provide our industry with the necessary resources to promote positive change for restaurants, hotels, our employees, and the people we serve.
The Hospitality Advocacy Fund empowers our association to provide clear, accessible, and timely information that strengthens our collective advocacy efforts and ensures the hospitality industry’s voice is heard.
