Man shot, killed in New Haven, police say
A man has died after a shooting in New Haven, police said.
The New Haven Police Department said it was out with a gunshot victim around 10:30 a.m.
Police first said the man was critically injured but said around 11:30 a.m. that it was now a homicide investigation.
They are responding in the 100 block of Derby Avenue, according to a post on X.
The man is 42 years old and from New Haven, according to police.
