I-395 South closed in Norwich due to crash

Interstate 395 South is shut down in Norwich on Wednesday afternoon due to a crash, Connecticut State Police said.

State police said the highway is closed between Exit 13 and Exit 11.

The ramp of Exit 36 off of Route 2 East is also shut down, according to state police.

The highway is expected to be closed for an extended period. State police are asking drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
