Heavy snow, strong winds, low visibility, slippery roads and coastal flooding are all a concern across the state for late Sunday and Monday.
A blizzard warning has been issued for parts of Connecticut for late Sunday and Monday ahead of a nor’easter.

The criteria needed for a blizzard warning to be issued is winds sustained or gusting over 35 miles per hour with falling or blowing snow reducing visibility to less than a quarter mile for over 3 hours.
Those conditions may be present at times across more of Connecticut through Sunday night and Monday.

Winds could gust between 40 and 50 miles per hour through Sunday night and Monday.
Coastal flooding will also be a concern, especially for the Monday morning high tide along the shoreline.
Heavy snow is expected to fall through Monday with totals nearing a foot for parts of the state.
