New Haven police investigating fatal scooter crash
New Haven police are investigating how a man was fatally injured while riding a scooter on Thursday.
Officers were called to the area of Ella T Grasso Boulevard and Plymouth Street around 9:30 p.m. on the report of a man in the road.
When first responders got to the scene, they found a man in his 20s or 30s in the road with significant injuries, police said.
The man was eventually pronounced dead from his injuries. Police have not identified him at this time.
According to officials, the man was riding a Razor-style scooter, but officers are still investigating what happened.
