Crews work to repair large sinkhole on Route 10 in New Haven

Crews are working to repair a large sinkhole on Route 10 in New Haven on Wednesday morning.

Fire officials said the sinkhole is about 20 feet by 40 feet and is 15 feet deep.

At this time, the right lane of Route 10 North is closed between Legion Avenue and MLK Boulevard. There is no estimate for when the area will reopen.

Crews did not say how long repairs will take.

No injuries were reported.
