Beyoncé surprises fans with a Fourth of July gift — and teases countdown to ‘B'Day' reissue
As if Taylor Swift’s wedding and the nation’s 250th birthday weren’t reason enough to celebrate, Beyoncé is giving fans an excuse to be drunk in love.
The superstar released a surprise new single Saturday, “Morning Dew (Donk)” — her first new music since her Grammy-winning “Act II: Cowboy Carter” dropped in 2024. The track doubles as a countdown clock: It kicks off 60 days until the 20th-anniversary reissue of her 2006 album “B’Day,” which lands Sept. 4 — also her birthday.
Beyoncé hasn’t confirmed it, but fans widely expect a third album to complete the “Act” trilogy she began with 2022’s disco-and-house tribute “Renaissance” and continued with the country-leaning “Cowboy Carter.” Speculation has pegged “Act III” as a rock record — a theory fueled by her Halloween costume as rocker Betty Davis.
